There’s something to be said for a classic wedding: the flowers, the veil, the big white dress. Angus Crichton and Chloe Crichton, née Esegbona, didn’t want to steer too clear of that blueprint, especially when it gave them the opportunity to pay homage to their own family. “We wore white gloves to cut the cake, inspired by a picture we saw of Angus’ grandparents, Lizzie and Robert, when they were getting married,” the bride tells Vogue. “But we had ‘Cut it’ by O.T. Genasis and Young Dolph playing while we were doing it—which I’m sure they didn’t!” Her something-old was another heirloom—“my gran’s handkerchief,” she explains, “that she had at her wedding back in 1961.”
